How it started
The interest of Giancarlo Rovini begins in the late sixties
following the casual discover of a few
rusted things in the Assa valley: the first emotion was soon replaced by
the tradition of "recuperantismo", with its
knowings and its legends.

|
The idea
Supported as time passed by his son Stefano, by the
middle of nineties Giancarlo Rovini thinks to realize his old
idea: to organize the big amount of findings as a thematic collection, and to offer the opportunity to the public to
visit it.

|
|
The opening
The opportunity presents in 1998; thanks to the courtesy of
the Comune
di Roana, that offers the rooms of the former Elementary School in
Tresché
Conca. It is the chance that Giancarlo waited
for: after a hard work, June 28th 1998 the
Collection was officialy opened.
